A short, stop-motion animation that I created as the final project for an experimental film course. I created both the sounds and the video. The piece was inspired by a weird half-dream I had a few weeks ago. The alarm on my phone, which was on vibrate, started going off, and in my half-sleep I perceived it as a weird, shifting pitched sound. After I woke up, I decided to try to recreate the effect using audio sampling techniques. The sounds and visuals explore the physical phenomenon of vibration, both on a large-scale and a molecular level.
